Male:

Semen analysis. If abnormal, repeat 30 days later

Female:

FSH day 3 <10-15 nl

Estradiol day 3 <80 normal

Serum progesterone midlueal phase (7 days before the onset of their normal). If no normal cycle: progesterone challenge. Give progesterone for a week, then within week of stopping they should have period.
