OB Hyperemesis

### PRN IVF ORDERS FOR NAUSEA AND VOMITING IN PREGNANCY

DIAGNOSIS: Nausea and vomiting of pregnancy

1 - Weight x1

2 - Vitals q1hr until discharged

3 - Please start peripheral IV

4 - Please give 1L bolus of LR; if still symptomatic give a second 1L bolus LR

5 - IV push 25mg phenergan if patient has driver

6 - IV push 5-10mg reglan if patient does not have a driver

7 - Please give PO challenge prior to discharge

8 - If patient remains symptomatic after 2L, please call OB Primary and/or Backup and obtain CBC, CMP, UA, urine and blood ketones

9 - If patient asymptomatic after 2L, please discontinue IV and then discharge home 

10 - Repeat up to twice a week
